In 1993, the Group’s first company, Multichemi International Limited, launched dash; Sri Lanka’s first environment-friendly, bio-degradable, non-toxic and phosphate-free household & car care detergent range. dash has grown to be the market leader in the car care category and has also established other reputable brands such as Gliz Dish Wash, Magic Soft Fabric Conditioner, SpringTime Air Freshener and Comox Toilet Bowl Cleaner under the dash umbrella of products. As a pioneer in the industry, dash also introduced Sri Lanka’s first laundry liquid under the brand name dash Safematic. Now a household trusted brand of 25 years, dash is excited to further enrich the daily lives of their customers through more innovative and effective products, steadfastly keeping the safety of their customers and the environment their foremost priority.
The company recently held a function to celebrate its 25th year anniversary, reflecting on their successes and goals for the future. Special awards of appreciation were given to employees who had been with the company for over 10 years.

The Group is also Sri Lanka’s first and largest exporter of textiles enzymes, and has also won Sri Lanka’s Highest National Green Award for their unwavering efforts to safeguard the environment.
