Great Place To Work® Sri Lanka successfully hosted its much-anticipated event, ‘Exploring Emerging Trends in the Manufacturing & Production Industry’, at the Hilton Colombo recently.

Through a series of insightful discussions and expert perspectives, participants explored key topics shaping the manufacturing industry today, including technological advancements, workforce dynamics, sustainability practices, and innovative leadership approaches. Attendees also had the opportunity to hear firsthand the practical experiences and best practices that have helped leading organizations foster cultures of trust, collaboration, and innovation, and sustain exceptional workplace environments over time.
 



 
The event commenced with a Welcome Address delivered by Ruwani Alwishewa, Head of Assessment Business and Client Services at Great Place to Work® Sri Lanka. This was followed by a Keynote Speech by Yohan Lawrence, Secretary General to the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF) and Chairman of the Exporters Association of Sri Lanka, who shared valuable insights into the evolving dynamics of the industry.

A thought-provoking Panel Discussion on ‘Exploring Emerging Trends in the Manufacturing & Production Industry’, featured Chandima Samarasinghe, General Manager at Sunquick Lanka Private Limited; Saif Ramzi, General Manager at ATG Hand Care Private Limited; and Nirmal Peiris, Director of International Business & Business Development at EWIS Colombo Limited. The discussion was skillfully moderated by Paveena Senanayakage, Senior Relationship Manager and List Manager for Best Workplaces™ in the Manufacturing & Production Industry at Great Place To Work® Sri Lanka, ensuring an engaging exchange of ideas.
