
Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa have announced the Future Executive Chef Program, an innovative, first-of-its-kind initiative designed to shape the culinary leaders of tomorrow in collaboration with the National Institute of Apprentice Training Authority (NAITA). This immersive three-year program starting April 2025, offers aspiring chefs unmatched, hands-on experience across diverse kitchen stations and outlets within the resort, equipping them with the skills and confidence to excel in leadership roles within the culinary industry.

Spearheaded by the resort’s culinary visionaries, Executive Sous Chef Mustaza and Chef De Cuisine Nalaka, the program will guide ten apprentice chefs through a dynamic rotation every three months, honing their expertise across various kitchens.
