On Sunday, 06 April 2025, a Press Briefing was held on the occasion of “Bangladesh Investment Summit-2025” at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital. BIDA and BEZA Executive Chairman (Senior Secretary) Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun spoke at the press briefing. Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser Shafiqul Alam, Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder and Head of Business Development of BIDA Nahian Rahman Rachi were present at the press conference.
Bangladesh Investment Summit-2025 will be held from April 7-10, 2025 at Hotel InterContinental, Dhaka with the participation of local and foreign investors, businessmen, political leaders, ambassadors and representatives of different countries to attract investment in Bangladesh.
The summit will be inaugurated by Honorable Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus on 09 April 2025.
Starlink’s internet service will be used on a trial basis on April 9 at the InterContinental Hotel in the capital, the venue of the Bangladesh Investment Conference. All participants present can use it. In addition, the conference will be broadcast live using Starlink’s internet.
Five foreign investors will be awarded at the Summit.
More than 600 investors and business representatives from 50 countries including USA, Korea, Germany, China, Malaysia and Japan will take part in the Summit.
Representatives of many companies like Facebook’s parent company Meta, Uber, Telenor, Toyota will participate in the Summit.
