He was accompanied by Anam Omar, Director Executive, Phoenix Industries. The visit highlighted ALFT’s commitment to advancing Sri Lanka’s manufacturing capabilities through innovative technology and sustainable practices.

Omar, who has been instrumental in transforming Sri Lanka’s apparel industry over four decades, as the visionary chairman of Brandix, expressed deep admiration for ALFT’s operational philosophy and strategic vision.

As the architect of the world’s first Net-Zero Carbon and LEED Platinum-certified apparel manufacturing facilities—creating over 60,000 jobs across Asia—his expertise in the apparel industry is unparalleled. I have been in various industries – apparel, plastics, aluminium and others – but to see ALFT’s vision and execution, I was blown away. The whole philosophy by which this facility has been set up is amazing.”

Omar particularly emphasized how ALFT Packaging’s approach aligns with Sri Lanka’s need to differentiate in the global market. “We are a small country, and we have to do something beyond anybody else.
