The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has recently observed an increase in fake job advertisements
circulating on social media and other platforms and frequent misuse of the official logo of the Bank to
deceive the public by claiming that they are offering job opportunities at CBSL.

In this regard, we kindly seek your support in creating public awareness through your esteemed media
institution to prevent individuals from falling victim to such scams. We emphasize that CBSL does
not publish job advertisements on third-party social media platforms, and all official career
opportunities are available only on the CBSL website under the Careers section and through our
official social media channels.

We have attached an awareness flyer with key information for your reference. We would greatly
appreciate it if you could help this message reach a wider audience through your media channels and
protect the public from fraudulent schemes.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support in this important matter.
Please feel free to reach out should you require any additional information through
0112477669/0112477965.
