TVS Lanka continues to redefine Sri Lanka’s two-wheeler industry by manufacturing the total

range of motorcycles, scooters & mopeds with domestic value addition. As Sri Lanka navigates a

critical economic phase, TVS Lanka’s commitment to domestic value addition plays a pivotal

role in revitalizing the economy, offering sustainable and cost-effective mobility solutions to Sri

Since the commissioning of its state-of-the-art vehicle assembly facility in 2021, TVS Lanka has

focused on enhancing domestic manufacturing capabilities. The facility was established with an

investment exceeding half a billion LKR and is staffed by managers and technicians trained in

India, ensuring global expertise in local production. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of

Industries’ Domestic Value Addition program, setting new benchmarks in quality and

innovation.

particularly timely to manage the rupee depreciation. We are committed in developing the

component manufacturing industry in Sri Lanka and glad to state that based on the investments

exposed to overseas training and now recognized with OE status”
