Russel’s holds Christmas party and deco competition

Russel’s Tea Services and Catering held their Christmas party along with the Christmas Decoration competition, on 6 December 2024 at their head office in Borella. There were 5 Priests, as judges for the competition. They included Rev: Father Samith Rangana, Parish Priest of St. John Dal Bastone, Thalangama and Rector of St. John Dal Bastone International School (the Chief Guest) along with Rev: Father Lorance Ramanayake, Rev: Father Assith, Rev: Father Ravin and Rev: Father Carlinga. They also took part in selecting the three Divisional winners. The Pastry Division won this competition while the second place went to the Cake Division. Office of Russel’s Catering secured third place. The event also included a talent show which was performed by the staff of Russel’s Catering. There were many events such as dancing and singing from each division. There was a special ‘Papary’ band while Jehan and Reshain Perera provided backing up music. In addition, ‘Russel’s Monthly Competition’ was held by selecting the best outdoor catering staff as a team based on the number of comments given by the customers. In this event M. Christopher and his team won the prize for the month of November 2024. The Pastry Division won first place for the Christmas Decoration competition for November 2024. Kala Davi won the first prize for the best cleaning staff of Russel’s Catering for the month of November 2024.
