Great Place To Work® identified the 25 winners on this year’s list by surveying more than 7.4 million employees in 2023 and 2024.

Only 51% of employees are excited to use AI to improve their work and even less (45%) believe their organizations will use AI in a way that benefits them. That’s the challenge facing global talent leaders according to a Great Place To Work® market study of nearly 43,000 employees. It’s a challenge that organizations on the Fortune World’s Best Workplaces™ List are already solving, with 25 organizations outperforming the typical workplace on key drivers of confidence in leadership.

Employees with confidence in their leaders are four times more likely to engage in meaningful innovation, boosting AI adoption and workplace resilience. Those who feel they have ample opportunities to innovate are three times more excited about using AI.

Great Place To Work® found that key employee experiences significantly enhance confidence in leadership. Organizations on their list outperformed typical workplaces on all measures. For instance, only about half of employees in an average workplace felt promotions were fairly awarded, compared to three-quarters at the World’s Best.

The Best Workplaces™ in the World included DHL Express as the first place, Hilton as the second place, and Allianz as the seventeeth place which had Sri Lankan organizations contributing to their parent MNC’s global achievement.

“As global organizations, these employers have an incredible impact on our world,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work®. “We are proud to recognize these organizations for their dedication to creating better workplaces for every employee — and by extension, making the world a better place for all of us.

“This global list followed a rigorous process, one that assures that employees have spoken about what they think are exceptional workplaces where they feel trusted, empowered, and energized to do their best work,” says Alyson Shontel, editor-in-chief of Fortune.

“We are proud of DHL Express, Hilton and Allianz in Sri Lanka who qualified and was selected to this exclusive list. Their dedication to fostering exceptional workplace experiences truly exemplifies their commitment to their people, not just locally but around the globe,” states Kshanika Ratnayaka, Director and CEO at Great Place To Work® Sri Lanka.
