Sysco LABS recently launched its Quality Engineering Nexus series, hosting two insightful sessions. The Sysco LABS Quality Engineering Nexus was developed as a knowledge sharing platform to enhance the standards of quality engineering in the Sri Lankan tech industry.
The inaugural event explored the “State of Quality Engineering in 2024”, featuring expert talks by Dilhan Manawadu (Senior Director, Global Quality Engineering, DevOps & Site Reliability Engineering, Sysco), Ranil Weerasinghe (Associate Director, Quality Engineering, Sysco LABS), and Ganuka Yasantha (Associate Quality Engineering Manager, Sysco LABS). The event concluded with a panel discussion which included insights from industry leaders Kovida Guruge (Director, Software Engineering, Wiley Global Technology) and Kaveendra Perera (Director, Software Engineering, Pearson Lanka), along with the session’s other speakers.
The second session focused on Testing Platforms and Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and their role in enhancing testing productivity. Keynote speaker Asanka Vithanage (Senior Software Architect – Application Technology, Sysco LABS) delivered live demos and case studies, providing actionable insights into building and utilizing IDPs effectively.
