The 17th edition of Bangladesh Denim Expo kicks off Monday 4th November 2024 at the International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka, Bangladesh.

There are two-panel discussion schedules for the two-day event. Panel Discussion 1: What Steps Must Bangladesh Take to Lead the Global Apparel Industry by 2030?
This session will explore the strategic actions required for Bangladesh’s RMG sector to transition from a low-cost production hub to a global leader in high-value, sustainable apparel by 2030. Discussions will focus on driving innovation through advanced manufacturing techniques, technology adoption, and digital solutions, ensuring that the industry meets the evolving demands of the global market. The session will also highlight practical solutions to enhance product quality and increase production efficiency, including sustainable and circular practices as part of the broader strategy.

The expected outcomes include a roadmap for achieving GSP+ eligibility, policy recommendations to address safeguard risks, and a framework for collaborative trade advocacy that ensures a competitive future for Bangladesh’s RMG sector.
