Thailand Week for the First Time in Sri Lanka

Miss Jittima Nakamano, Director of Thai Trade Center Chennai states that “It is the first time for Thailand Week trade fair in Sri Lanka. This event is organized by Thai Trade Center, Chennai, India which is an overseas wing of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Thailand. Having organised many successful exhibitions around Asia. It is time to give the people of Sri Lanka the taste of Thai culture, tradition along with the business & trading opportunity.

Thailand Week will showcase variety of lifestyle products from Thailand in modern living concept. We have 35 exhibitors presenting premium products such as home décor, health & beauty products, food & beverages, household products, fashion and fashion accessories, furniture, wellness and spa product including hotel supplies and much more.”

She also states that this exhibition – cum – sale event is set to attract all business entities from small entrepreneurs to heavy investors including general consumers. The event is supported by the Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo and Siam City Cement (Lanka) by extending the attraction to the visitors with traditional Thai cultural dance and Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) performance performed by the artists from Thailand and also Thai cooking demonstration.

To add spice to the visitors, the key sponsors Thai Airways International and Anantara Resorts will give away free air tickets and hotel vouchers for the lucky winners.”

Thailand Week trade fair is set to happen from 7-9 July at BMICH from 10.00 am – 06.30 pm. The event is managed and organised by Lanka Exhibition & Conference Services (Pvt) Ltd.
