Colombo, Sri Lanka, 16 October 2024: C. W. Mackie PLC recently signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture and Plantation Industries, the Agricultural Sector Modernisation Project, and 2K Agro Products Limited. The project is funded by the European Union (EU).

Mackie PLC has shown a vital role played in domestic production that can significantly contribute to the national agro-economy through import substitution while also boosting export earnings. Further, development of agricultural value chains that ensure farmer producer organisations sustainability, improving their livelihoods, and further helping the farmer community with their children’s education.
