Bangladesh has achieved a unique glory by winning the title of SAFF U-20 Championship. Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan congratulated the players of the Bangladesh team on their success.
In the final match of the tournament held at the Anfa Complex in Lalitpur, Nepal, Bangladesh defeated the hosts Nepal 4-1 to become the champions. This is Bangladesh’s first title in the under-20 category in the age-based tournament.
The Youth and Sports Adviser met all the players including the players at the National Sports Council in Dhaka on 29 August 2024 Thursday and exchanged greetings with the success of the team. During the meeting, he congratulated the players, inquired about them and exchanged views.
