30 is Geshany Balder’s 3rd solo exhibition, which welcomed over 100 art, music and wine lovers to its opening reception on Friday (December 14 2018) at Hatch, Sir Baron Jayathilaka Mawatha, Colombo 1. The showcase will be open to the public from December 15 – 20 2018.
The installation expresses a collection of memories, moments and experiences during a year of growth and discovery, giving viewers a chance to see reflections of their own lives through artistic expression. The show creates an experience which takes you through her journey in the past year.
Geshany Balder’s artistic prowess has elevated her to become a well known personality amongst contemporary art circles and enthusiasts in Sri Lanka.
Geshany is a full time artist and her work can be seen in several cafes and restaurants around colombo. Miss Balder has previously held popular art installations at Ruby Studio Gallery.
A product of Colombo International School, Balder has consistently pushed the boundaries of art and creativity.
